  • The Crow (1994): T-Bird—one of Top Dollar's enforcers—comes across the book while raiding Shelley and Eric's apartment, and becomes enamored of one of the passages. When a revived Eric is preparing to kill T-Bird in his favorite car, the bad guy finally recognizes Eric and has a full meltdown, repeating that line over and over:
    Abashed the Devil stood and felt how awful goodness was... how awful goodness was... how awful goodness was! (car speeds off the pier and explodes)
