A tale of prophecy starring only two lads.

Anime & Manga

  • JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The names of Oingo and Boingo, two Stand-using brothers who serve DIO, come from the band. In the dub of the anime and Crunchyroll's subs, they're respectively renamed Zenyatta and Mondatta (after Zenyattà Mondatta by The Police), but "Oingo Boingo" is still seen on the cover of Boingo's future-predicting manga, Thoth.
  • In Black Lagoon, Balalaika quotes Oingo Bongo when Hansel boasts that he will live forever because of how many people he's killed.
Balalaika: That's quite the interesting religion. It's a wonderful thought, I suppose. However, I'm afraid that Oingo Boingo said it best; "No One Lives Forever", that's just the way it goes.

Western Animation

  • American Dad!: Mentioned three different times. Once by Bullock in the episode where he's dating Hayley, he comes down to breakfast wearing Francine's robe, singing "Little Girls", another in another episode by Stan, where he's singing a portmanteau of "Weird Science" and "Dead Man's Party", and finally in an episode during a montage where Stan is studying in a library with "Weird Science" playing, but he couldn't concentrate because he could hear the montage's music.
Stan: It's a weird science party, who could ask for more?
