In Eminem's music video for "We Made You", Jessica Simpson's weight gain over the 2008 holiday is parodied with Trisha Paytas - who is considerably heavier than Jessica ever got - playing her wearing Daisy Dukes and gorging on huge burgers. Her then-boyfriend then-Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo also appears played by Eminem.
In P!nk's "So What", one of her grievances is "The waiter just took my table, and gave it to Jessica Simps" (Pink said she has nothing personal against Simpson, and had even considered the line "The pilot just took my private jet and gave it to Haylie Duff" instead).
