- Roxy Was Here has The Adventures of Saren Rho, where Baird's speech about how great old earth science fiction was includes Isaac Asimov by name.
- Inferno (Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle) has Dr. Asimov enter the room, distracting everyone while the protagonist dies.
- Superman: Issue #355, "Momentus, Master of the Moon!": This issue came out in 1980, with a villain whose private identity is Dr. Asa Ezaak. The villain has glasses, thick sideburns, and has published two hundred books on topics ranging from Astronomy to Zoology. The issue came out the year after noted science fact and Science Fiction author, Dr. Isaac Asimov, published Opus 200. He's also known for the muttonchop sideburns that "good doctor" Ezaak is drawn with.
- Babylon 5. Psicop Alfred Bester has Michael Garibaldi implanted with what he calls an "Asimov", a hypnotic command that prevents Garibaldi from harming him, or through inaction allow anyone else to harm him.
- Star Trek: Picard: Dr. Agnes Jurati is a fan of Asimov's sci-fi novels.
- Last Week Tonight with John Oliver has Isaac Asimov in a skit together with people like Carl Sagan and Paul McCartney.
- Spoofed in Plan 7 of 9 from Outer Space as the Sayer of the Three Laws. When the robots start debating them, Asimov defines the Second Law as "Do as we say, not as we do!"
- The Proteus Operation: Asimov shows up as a character in 1940 New York, writing science fiction stories. One of his stories gives Albert Einstein the insight he needs to solve a problem.
