How It Should Have Ended provides an alternate ending to the film. In the prologue, Riley's emotions freak out when Riley has a brain fart. Also, when Joy finds out that the Mind Workers can send memories up to headquarters, she does this with the core memories, allowing her and Sadness to easily get back to headquarters. When they return, Joy punishes Sadness for getting them lost. Bing Bong then explains the situation to Riley, blowing her mind. In The Stinger, a now 31-year-old Riley is shown to still be living with her parents, hoping things never change, and when Joy starts crying when she and Bing Bong are trapped in the Memory Dump, Bing Bong asks her if she has emotions inside her head, to which her emotions are shown, and she tells him it's better not to think about it.
The Nostalgia Critic: The Framing Device for the Critic's review of Osmosis Jones is done in the style of Inside Out, with his six emotions, Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, Disgust, and Pissed Off, respectively being played by Tamara Chambers, Beth Elderkin, Malcolm Ray, Taylor Chambers, Joanna Kay, and Christopher Harrison.
