He develops the Faustian conflict further in the introduction, explaining that Faust must face Mephistopheles, but the plot did not require some sort of failing on Faust's end.
- Kamen Rider Build: The Nebulous Evil Organisation Sento fights for the first quarter is named "Faust" as a nod to the tale. The ROGUE prequel reveals Night Rogue deliberately chose the name as a nod to the tale, given how their work involves selling their souls in the metaphorical sense to obtain scientific knowledge. He also directly compares his co-founder Blood Stalk (and the one who corrupted him) to Mephistopheles.
- French Baguette Intelligence: In The Metaverse Nightmares - Does Reality Matter?, Gringo compares advanced virtual reality to Faust's deal with Mephistopheles; able to have anything he wants, at the cost of finding everything unsatisfying because nothing requires effort to accomplish.
- In Limbus Company, one of the Sinners is named Faust, a smug genius inventor who is responsible for the creation of the Limbus Company bus, Mephistopheles, who turns humans into fuel.
- In Make Mine Music, Willie the Whale dreams of playing Mephistopheles.
