- Sesame Street: In Episode 4119, before Big Bird's Fairy Godperson leaves after granting Big Bird's wish to turn all the adults on Sesame Street into kids so they can play with him, he gets a call on his wand phone, telling him that there are two kids who want to fly with dragons. He even repeats their Invocation word-for-word.
- Sunstriker Animated Universe:
- Plushtrap is an Expy of Lorca since both are bound to a wheelchair and are extremely talented.
- Ord and Zak and Wheezie appear as characters in the universe.
- In JelloApocalypse's "So This Is Basically Overwatch", Hanzo and Genji are represented as a 2-headed dragon and called "Dragon Tales".
- TheOdd1sOut's video "Growing Up Without Cable" has James looking back on the show and describing some of the more unusual ideas that were presented. He also sings the theme song...very badly.
- Defunctland produced a DefunctTV episode about the history behind the series.
- Robot Chicken: A sketch from "The Deep End" features a promo for a Japanese game show called Who Poop Last?. The promo features plush toys of Ord and Cassie who print dollars from their mouths.
