• Just about anytime one of the main dragons' badges glow, a show of their shining character.
• The show's treatment of the topic of jealousy in "Cassie, the Green-Eyed Dragon." How often is it that, well, any show, actually treats the subject as something that everyone feels from time-to-time and nothing to be embarrassed about as long as handled properly, rather than as a terrible, awful sin?
• Each of the dragons gets one in "A Crown For Princess Kadoodle." That is, each one (Zak and Wheezie, Cassie, Ord) does something worth making their badges glow along the way.
• In “Do Not Pass Gnome”, Max notices the gnome didn’t say “Simon Says” when he told the friends they’d won the game. Thanks to this, they win the game for real.
• In "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do", after cutting up Max and Ord's art project in half completely backfires and results in both of them going Bratty Half-Pint, Wheezie loses her cool and scolds the two, pointing out they can make another project.
  Wheezie: Oh brother! Why don't ya just make another what-do-ya-call-it?!
