Western Animation

  • Buzz Lightyear of Star Command:
    • In "The Beasts of Karn", shortly after Team Lightyear meets up with Dr. Furbanna, she says "I suppose you rescue rangers will have to stay the night.".
    • In "Return to Karn", after Smoltz reveals that he's been working for Zurg, he refers to Mira as "Little Miss Rescue Ranger".
  • Chip 'n' Dale: Park Life: In "Who's Your Granny?", the Hawaiian shirt that Dale wears is very similar to the one he wore in Rescue Rangers, being red with yellow flowers.
  • Darkwing Duck:
    • Coo-Coo Cola is a product that shows up in a few episodes.
    • The episode "Twitching Channels" is about Darkwing Duck and Megavolt ending up in a human-populated world where Darkwing's adventures are the subject of an animated series due to writer E. Thaddeus Rockwell receiving signals from Darkwing's world thanks to an alpha wave feedback helmet and using it as an inspiration. At the end, after Darkwing and Megavolt go back to their world, Rockwell's assistant Crosby receives signals from the world of Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, whereas he listens to a conversation between Monterey Jack and Chip, and gets an idea for a new series.
  • Robot Chicken:
    • A deleted sketch from "Terms of Endaredevil" has Chip, Dale, and Monterey try to rescue Gadget from a vat of chemicals. Monty notices cheese and his cheese addiction kicks in, leaving Chip and Dale and causing them to let go of Gadget and fall in the vat, killing her. Afterwards, Monty gets hanged for leaving the team and getting Gadget killed.
    • A sketch from "Disemboweled By an Orphan" has Gadget forgoing pants to be like the other Rescue Rangers, who are all male and don't wear pants. Chip, Dale, and Monty see Gadget and promptly give excuses to leave the room for... various reasons.
    • A later sketch from the same episode has the Rescue Rangers get their picture taken by a squirrel photographer, only for Monty to go crazy when the Rangers say "Cheese".
    • In a sketch from "Botched Jewel Heist", Chip and Dale (dressed in their Rescue Rangers attire) appear alongside other Disney characters at Mickey Mouse's rally to ban interspecies relationships. They justify their protests on the grounds that they're either brothers or cousins. Gadget and Monty also make non-speaking cameo appearances.
    • A sketch from "Legion of Super-Gyros" has Monty eat Gadget's vegan cheese, only to find it tastes terrible.
    • A sketch from "Ghandi Mulholland in: Plastic Doesn't Get Cancer" has Fat Cat nearly succeed in destroying Chip and Dale, only for his owner Linda (who calls him Professor Pudge) to take him to the vet, who tries to sedate him for a liposuction, only for Fat Cat to sedate him instead. Fat Cat dies from obesity afterwards.
  • Tiny Toon Adventures: In "America's Least Wanted" (part of "Here's Hamton"), when Plucky is channel surfing, he flips through a parody of Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, depicting Chip and Dale as squirrels (pictured above). This clip would later be used in the opening to the short-lived spin-off, The Plucky Duck Show, during the line, "Other shows seem yucky now that Plucky's on the air!".
