• The Bus Came Back: Adrian returns in this episode as do Crowler and Echo.
• Defeating the Undefeatable: Aster tries to do this with his Force of Four spell by making both players hold four cards maximum, meaning Adrian can't hold all five pieces of Exodia.
• Everyone Has Standards: In response to Adrian asking Echo to sacrifice her life (or duel energy in the dub) in exchange for him obtaining Exodia, Zane comments he would do anything to win but would not cross a line that would end with somebody dying.
• Oh, Crap!: Aster when he figures out Adrian is trying to summon Exodia.
