Takes place 17 February 2013.

Paul and Kon end up stumbling across Themyscira while on their mission to find a path to Erebos. They discover that the island is being assaulted by residents of the Aztec afterlife and proceed to investigate why they are attacking Themyscira.

The Renegade works on helping his children reconnect with their deceased siblings.

  • Alternate Universe: We see P'ol helping his allies in figuring out the origin of an unidentified spaceship.
  • Dressing as the Enemy: Paul wears one of the Aztec Powered Armors in order to infiltrate an enemy stronghold.
  • Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: Cornwall Boy investigates a ziggurat and slowly realizes that the heat sources he's looking at are actual beating hearts.

Damp, warm and slightly sticky. And it looks like the heat source is vibrating? Some sort of lightless fire? I reach out to touch it. Wouldn't be the strangest thing-.
Feels a bit rubbery. And it's moving, I think it's pumping-. Yeah, it's pumping, and it's sort of heart-.
    Shaped.
  • Kryptonite Ring: Cornwall Boy gives a drop of his blood to a group of Fomorians, as collateral to ensure he won't abuse their trust. As inherently magical beings, they could do him a great deal of harm using his blood if they wanted.
  • Swallowed Whole: Downplayed. In order to camouflage Superboy, Miss Martian needs to keep him in her throat while she goes invisible.
  • Switching P.O.V.: We see POVs of other members of the Team who are on separate missions from Paul's team.
  • Wound That Will Not Heal: Paul gets injured from magic obsidian, and the injuries won't heal no matter what he tries. Superboy suggests that Apollo might be to blame for this, and Paul privately acknowledges that he's probably right.
