Episode 125: Dear John
Takes place 5-7 November 2012.
Paul finally decides to seriously locate John Constantine to check up on what happened since he last saw the magician.
Krono helps out Enclave soldiers in tracking down the robots that attacked them.
- Alternate Universe: Continuing from the previous episode, Krono is helping soldiers hostile to all mutants relocate to a new state when they are intercepted by robots from an unknown faction.
- Caught Monologuing: Paul takes advantage of Johnny Reb monologuing to locate and free Uncle Sam and prepare a counterattack.
- Continuity Nod: Paul mentions the first time he visited the Gotham Police Department.
- Dropping the Bombshell: Paul tells Doctor Mist and Zatara of Euanthe's plan to make all plant life on Earth toxic to demons. Pamela Isley later lampshades Paul's tendency to do this.Dr. Isley: I get the impression that he just drops things like that in the middle of the conversation.
Zatara: Yes, he does.
Paul: It's not that I like doing it, it's just how things happen. The world is a strange and magical place and it's not my fault if people can't keep up with me. - Know When to Fold 'Em: After Demon Constantine is captured, he cooperates with Orange Lantern, as he knows there's nothing he can do, at least at that moment, to escape.
- Nations as People: The Big Bad turns out to be Johnny Reb, the personification of the Confederate States of America.
- Oh, Crap!: Alan and Paul react this way after they see that Boss Smiley has taken over the Statue of Liberty.
- Speak of the Devil: Boss Smiley not only has the ability to hear whenever anyone says his name, but it even extends to his chosen appellations like "the Prince of the World".
- Switching P.O.V.: We see Demon Constantine's viewpoint from right after escaping Belle Reve.
