Stella utters some hurtful commentaries about Musa's crush on Riven, which prompt Musa to seek some time alone. She gets to Magix City and wanders the streets until she finds Riven on a date with Darcy. She soon gets caught by Icy and a bunch of Cloud Tower witches. When the remaining Winx and Specialists arrive on the scene, a street fight ensues.

- Adaptational Heroism: The 4Kids dub changes Riven's Face–Heel Turn to a form of brainwashing.
- Bowdlerize: The scene where Musa gets mad at Icy. In the original, she slaps her in the face, leaving a visible handprint; in the 4Kids dub, she casts a spell that makes her grow a wart.
- Foreshadowing: The Trix being the only ones affected by Bloom's magical outburst, Foreshadows that the other witches, even though they are mischievous, their hearts are in the right place.
- There Are No Police: The Winx (aided by the Specialists) have a rumble against the witches in plain daylight and none of the bystanders calls the police. Not when a horde of witches is chasing Musa down, nor when their fight causes public damage.
- This Cannot Be!: Darcy complains to her sisters about their collective defeat at the hands of Bloom. The Trix are witches in their senior year of magical education who've had all their lives to experiment with their magic. Meanwhile, Bloom is a freshman who learned she was a fairy at the beginning of that same year.Darcy: I can't believe we were beaten by a freshman.
- Wham Line: Bloom accidentally causes a mess in Alfea's library while searching for more information about Daphne (the mysterious voice in her dreams). Faragonda lets her go unpunished but warns the librarian Barbatea about preventing Bloom from researching the topic again. Her motivations are unknown but it brings suspicions about Daphne being connected to Bloom's home planet.Faragonda: Actually there is one more thing: should Bloom ever try to find out more about Daphne the Nymph, we must deny her access to any information. Is that clear?
