After the gang votes on their next destination, they end up at the annual dog show courtesy of Scooby. There, Shaggy runs into an old acquaintance, Meadow, and her dog, Milady Moonbeam. However, the gang then has an unpleasant run-in with a Cat Creature who seems bent on ruining the dog-show and stealing the puppies of former winner dog, Crissie.
This episode contains examples of the following:
- Broken Pedestal: After the Cat Creature is unmasked and revealed to be Meadow, Shaggy expresses his dismay that his friend would go so far to help her dog win the dog-show, even if it meant betraying him and Scooby.
- Cowardly Lion: Scooby acts suprislingly brave during the episode, he goes to great lengths to help the Secret Six from the thugs who kidnapped them, and when confronted by the Cat Creature Scooby gets the courage to defend Crissie and the puppies
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: If the thugs, who Meadow hired to kidnap the Secret Six, hadn't kidnapped Scooby alongside them, because they didn't want to leave an eye witness, they might have succeeded at their job, as bringing Scooby allowed to help the puppies escaped from them.
- Papa Wolf: When the Cat Creature attempts to attack Crissie and her pups, Scooby, in rare act of courage, defends them the Cat Creature and defeats it.
- Railroad Tracks of Doom: After Scooby and the Secret Six manage to escape from their kidnappers, they avoid being caught from them again by hiding in a cave while the thugs chased them in their car. They later find out the cave is a tunnel for a train, then after avoiding being hit by the train they fall in the river.
