The Bears have a misadventure in a Korean spa.

Tropes:

  • Bait-and-Switch:
    • One might assume that since Grizzly found his coupon in the trash, it's actually expired. The twist is actually that the dirty old coupon is for Bill's Spa instead of the Hill Spa.
    • It looks like Ice Bear is going to settle Grizzly's debt with a game of ping-pong, but he loses by just one point, and instead Mrs. Chang calls off the debt when Panda rescues her father from being locked in a sauna.
  • Bilingual Bonus: The Korean spoken in this episode is un-subtitled.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: The old man who shares the steam room with Panda turns out to be the owner's father.
  • Cool Old Lady: Mrs. Chang, the owner of Hill Spa, is a stern middle-aged Korean lady who's also a champion player of ping-pong.
  • Instant Expert: Ice Bear masters the game of ping-pong in a matter of minutes, enough to give a champion-level player a run for their money.
  • I Owe You My Life: When Mrs. Chang learns that Panda saved her father from being locked in the sauna, she agrees to call off Grizzly's debt, and Mr. Chang even offers to let the bears relax for a bit.
  • Oh, Crap!: Much to Grizzly's horror, the coupon he found is for the wrong spa, and he ends up owing a lot of money to Mrs. Chang.
  • Sauna of Death: Panda and an old man get locked in a malfunctioning sauna, and narrowly escape when Panda manages to overload the controls and blow the door open.
  • Scream Discretion Shot: We initially only hear Grizzly's pained screams when he gets a full body scrub and learns the hard way just how rough it is.
  • Smurfette Principle: Mrs. Chang is the first female antagonist in the show's entire run.
  • Truth in Television: The old man doing far worse than Panda in the sauna is because the elderly do have a far weaker tolerance for heat.
