Having left behind the titanic battle of the Iop warriors, the rest of the brotherhood continues the journey across theTower to reach the floor where Flopin and Eva are kept prisoner. The next floor on their way holds the Ecaflip Room: there, in a chasm filled with threadballs, kittens and cat trees, the demigod Ush Galesh awaits, ready for a rematch against Yugo.

Meanwhile, Oropo calmly observes the situation from up above, questioning the loyalty of his own followers. Furthermore, strange fits occurs to him, implying that the seemingly all-powerful hooded man is hiding something...

Tropes:

  • Anti-Magic: Ush installed an inhibitor in his room as an additional challenge for the heroes. They eventually get rid of it so that Yugo can use his powers to take down Ush.
  • Call-Back:
    • Flashbacks from the second part of the Special showing Ush's defeat are shown.
    • Also, Ush uses an inhibitor like those seen in the Justice Knight's jail and in the Trool Fair.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The Kama Amalia gives to Ruel as a motivational is used a distraction to keep the hordes of kittens away from the heroes.
  • *Crack!* "Oh, My Back!": As Ruel prepares himself to go through the catflap, his back painfully cracks and he grumbles about his arthritis. That is, until Amalia reminds him of the bag of Kamas she promised him if he stopped complaining, and Ruel simply flows through the flap with amazing grace.
  • Foreshadowing: Notice how in Ush's private card sets, Yugo is the Jack of Diamonds while Oropo is the King in the same suit...
  • Graceful Loser: Compared to the last time they fought, Ush manages to fight back his rage and admit his defeat, leaving in better terms with the Brotherhood.
  • Help, I'm Stuck!: The access to the Ecaflip Room is a small catflap: when Amalia tries to pass, she gets stuck because of her Hartman Hips. Eventually Yugo has to teleport the other way and push her butt through, much to her embarrassment.
  • Hidden Depths:
    • We get to see Oropo after some sex with Echo, showing a lot of doubts and lack of confidence, asking her if she and the other Siblings are following him out of loyalty to him or for believing the cause.
    • Despite his cold and psychotic portrayal from before, Adamai admits that a little part of him wants to see Yugo and the Brotherhood of the Tofu triumph in the end.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Yugo ultimately defeats Ush by sending his own black kittens back to him.
  • Honor Before Reason: Weaponized by Ush, who protects Elely from a possibly fatal fall, only to claim that because he saved her life she's now indebted to him and cannot fight him. Elely complies, but she still helps Amalia reach and disable the Inhibitor.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Elely mocking Amalia for her fat butt, with the latter retorting that she'd better hope she doesn't take after her mother.
  • Large Ham: Ruel's overly-dramatic complaints about being too old for everything and feeling unable to climb even one more step. It comes to a brutal halt when Amalia offers him money to keep up.
  • Leeroy Jenkins: Elely is the first to jump into the fray before the rules are explained, with Amalia wishing she didn't took so much after her dad.
  • Noble Demon: Contrasting Mishell and Dark Vlad, Ush is a good deal less hostile and affable enough that Yugo has a good opinion of him. He even warns the heroes about the following Demigod.
  • Platform Hell: The Ecaflip Tree consist in a series of gigantic cat trees across a huge chasm with just enough space for a single person on the top: the trees are difficult to climb from the bottom and there are plenty of movable parts and traps designed to knock intruders down to the bottom of the room.
  • Playing Card Motifs: As he talks to the heroes, Ush shows some cards representing the heroes: Yugo is the Jack of Diamonds, Amalia the Queen of Hearts, Ruel is the King of Spades, Elely the Jack of Clubs and Oropo the King of Diamonds. The suits makes even more sense if you consider certain games such as Briscola, where the Diamond suit is the strongest one (followed by Hearts, Clubs and Spades).
  • Ridiculously Cute Critter: Ush uses an army of black kittens, so adorable that Amalia can't bring herself to hurt them.
  • Self-Deprecation: After essentially bribing Ruel out of his "I'm too old for this" mood, Amalia angrily reminds him that "complaining is the job of a princess" and tells him to not steal her role.
  • Shipper on Deck: Accidental example: after being encouraged by Yugo and Amalia about her father, Elely comments that they'd make excellent parents. Cue to the two of them blushing wildly and glaring at each other before looking the other way.
  • Subordinate Excuse: Echo and Oropo are in a relationship, though Oropo asks her if she's loyal to him because she's in love or because she's loyal to the cause. She replies that she only fell in love with him after deciding to become loyal to his project.
  • Temporary Bulk Change: After being bested by the heroes, Ush briefly grows some muscles and turns huge... only to shrink back in his usual Lean and Mean form and admit his loss.
  • Why Don't You Just Shoot Him?: Invoked, Adamai asks Oropo why he couldn't just dispose of them all by himself, but Oropo tells him that killing them is not their goal.
  • Your Days Are Numbered: While he's talking to Ad, Oropo is suddenly victim of some odd seizures that makes him semi-transparent like an hologram. Adamai worriedly notices that these attacks have been more frequent recently.
  • Zerg Rush: Ush's arsenal includes a horde of cute but pesky black kittens that rush whoever falls to the bottom of the room.
