Still shocked by Oropo's time trap and challenged to rise to the top of the Tower, the Brotherhood prepares to brave the perils ahead to rescue Evangelyne and Flopin, ready to put their very convinctions to the test.

Waiting for them are the first two floors of the tower: the Xelor Room, where the still frozen Harebourg is kept sealed, and the Osamodas Room, where their first true opponent, the demigoddess Mishel, awaits them. The mischievous Osamodas however, doesn't seems interested in actually fighting the heroes, but rather in talking to Elely face to face.

Tropes:

  • Almost Kiss: After Yugo rescues Amalia from the booby-trapped door, the two nearly share a kiss before being interrupted by Ruel.
  • Armor-Piercing Question: Downplayed, though Mishel does get childishly angry when Elely asks her if she really think she's up the task to take over Osamodas' place.
  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Turns out that Mishel's throne is resting on the head of a colossal frog-like creature.
  • Attention Deficit... Oh, Shiny!: Ruel's inspection of the Xelor door is soon interrupted when he notice that the thing is made of solid silver, with engravings covered in diamond powder and handles of gold.
  • Bait-and-Switch: When Dally as a tofu notices that his arm can still transform, he tries to use it to deliver a beat-down to Mishel's familiar... only to fall down because it's too big for him to use.
  • The Beastmaster: As expected, Mishel has power over her shapeshifting familiar Cancane and her giant frog pet.
  • Big "NO!": Dally, when he realizes that he has to cross a room covered in excrement and filth.
  • Blood Knight: Elely is actually disappointed when she learns that Mishel doesn't want to fight her. The latter laughs and proclaims that she'd be a perfect Iop Goddess.
  • Call-Back: The Xelor Room hosts the still-frozen Count Harebourg.
  • Cat Girl: Not literally, but Mishel has strong feline motif, her mask's spikes resembles cat ears and she's playful, fast and mischievous. At one point she even stands on all fours and licks her hand like a cat.
  • Cover Innocent Eyes and Ears: Played for laughs; Ruel's passionate interest in the fancy door is so much that Amalia, weirded out, covers Elely's eyes.
  • The Determinator: Since she didn't went through Oropo's mind attack, Elely has the most will and energy of her companions, and motivates them to go on and rescue her mom and brother.
  • Dub Name Change: Mishel's original name was Coqueline, possibly changed to invoke Clean Dub Name?
  • Forced Transformation: Mishel uses her Osamodas powers to transform all her opponents sans Elely into harmless Tofu for five minutes, so that she can talk personally to the Ioppette.
  • Friend to All Living Things: Despite appearing as a happy-go-lucky prankster, Mishel actually deeply cares for all the animals of the world, and the thought of so much animal abuse (fighting sports, mass butchery, abused pets) in the world makes her cry. Because of this, she's determined to take over Osamodas' place to rectify all this.
  • Full-Boar Action: Cancane turns into a large white boar when he threatens the Tofufyied heroes.
  • Heroic BSoD: Played for laughs when Sadlygrove (who's bare-footed) realizes that the Xelor Room's floor is filled with fresh feces, a sight so awful it almost makes him lose all his Heroic Willpower, even more so when he steps on the poop, and needs his daughter's encouragement to move on. Amalia, who's also bare-footed, goes through one too after stepping on the crap. Lampshaded by Mishel:
Mishel: The famous Sadlygrove defeated by poop! Heroes just aren't what they used to be.
  • Human Popsicle: Count Harebourg is still there, frozen solid in a giant stalagmite of ice.
  • Humiliation Conga: Rather than defeat the heroes directly in combat, Mishel is content with mocking them before transforming them all into Tofu and have her Gobgob pet chase after them in boar form. This after the heroes had to cross a poop-covered room to get to hers.
  • Just Toying with Them: Mishel's tasked with testing the heroes, but she doesn't take their threat seriously and is content with going easy on them.
  • Lighter and Softer: Compared to the previous episode, this one is a lot wackier and softer.
  • Magic Skirt: Mishel's dress doesn't have an actual lower opening, so that when Dally manages to grab her by the ankle and suspend her, she doesn't get a panty shot.
  • Moment Killer: Right when Yugo and Amalia are seemingly about to make out, Ruel interrupts them to solve the puzzle door.
  • Morphic Resonance: The heroes turned into tofus are still quite recognizable by the colors of their feathers. Yugo's are blue, Amalia's are green, Sadlygrove's are orange (with a darker wing in place of his Rubilax-arm), and Ruel's are white with a bald top.
  • Ms. Exposition: Minor one, though Lady Echo, while talking to Eva, points out that Flopin and Elely are, as far as they know, the only two demigods who were actually reared by parents, and thus received an education, while all the others, like all the members of the Brotherhood, are orphans.
  • No, Mr. Bond, I Expect You to Dine: Lady Echo prepares a huge banquet of fruit for Eva and Flopin. Despite Eva's suspicion, it's just a meal.
  • Oh, Crap!: Ruel as a tofu has one when he realizes that Cancane is about to eat him.
  • Right-Hand Attack Dog: Cancane is Mishel's loyal Gobgob (the star-shaped Osamodas Familiar), larger than her and able to transform into either multiple frogs or into a large white boar.
  • Rubber Man: Due to her Osamodas powers, Mishel can stretch herself and her limbs to cover huge distance and finger-poke all the members of the Brotherhood.
  • Slasher Smile: Mishel has Cute Little Fangs and loves to give out malicious grins as she confronts the heroes.
  • The Smart Guy: Of the group, Ruel is the one able to figure out how to open the silver clockwork door, with the only hints being gears with I and II inscribed on them. Amalia erroneously assumes that they have to move the two clocks on 01:00 and 02:00, while Ruel figures out that they have to be moved in the only position giving four times the same number: 11:11 and 22:22 respectively.
  • Stomach of Holding: Inside Mishel's giant frog familiar, there are hundreds and hundreds of cocoons containing her animal friends.
  • Toilet Humour: The episode has a large amount of poop-related humor, much to poor Dally's dismay, as he ends up stepping on crap several times.
  • Troll: Mishel is perfectly happy with mocking the heroes and flashing them with malicious grins and doesn't take them seriously, except for Elely.
  • Villain Has a Point: While it was a petty outburst, Mishel does have a point in calling out the Gods for living secluded in Inglorium and not doing anything for the World of Twelve. When Elely tries to counteract by mentioning her father's deeds, she replies that Iop left his place (after the whole Cornu Mollu accident) and Dally only learnt of his divine identity recently.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Despite her petty behaviour, Mishel is an idealist who wants to help all abused animals and put and end to the source of their suffering.
  • Wham Shot: After Mishel warns the heroes about the dweller of the following room, we see Dark Vlad sitting menacingly on his throne in the Iop Room, giving a Kubrick Stare at the camera.
  • Zero-Effort Boss: The only obstacle in the Xelor section of the tower is a fancy, trapped door with a clock-themed opening mechanism. The responsible demigod is Harebourg, still frozen solid.
