The girls and Caleb learn of Elyon's adoptive parents location in Phobos' maximum security prison and decide to rescue them at the same time Elyon wants to see them again.
- Appeal to Force: Miranda subtly threatens some castle servants to drive them away from Elyon by partially transforming her hand to its monster form in front of them.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: Elyon's adoptive parents, Thomas and Elinor Brown, are fed with a hypnotic potion by Phobos to make them believe they live in a mountain cottage and prevent them from revealing Elyon about their imprisonment. Blunk also falls in this after licking the Browns' empty plates.
- Good Parents: Elyon's, who despite her turning her back to them when discovering her Meridian origins, still are concerned for their adoptive daughter and asks the Guardians to not let Phobos to hurt her.
- Properly Paranoid: Thomas Brown is suspicious when a guard suddenly serves him and his wife food in the prison. And he turns to be right as said in the next trope...
- Trojan Veggies: Phobos secretly puts a hypnotic potion on the Browns' prison food which makes them hallucinate into believing they're in a mountain cottage.
- Undying Loyalty: Elyon to her adoptive parents, as despite them hiding her true identity to them, still loves them and wishes to see them again.
