Jade Dumps Beck

Jade decides to break up with Beck after accusing him of cheating on her, but she soon begins to miss him and recruits Tori to get them back together.

Meanwhile, Trina puts on a one-woman show and insists that Robbie give a good review...or else.

Tropes:

• Astonishingly Appropriate Interruption: In Robbie's history class, this occurs:
  Teacher: And then at 10 PM, John Wilkes Booth opened the door, pointed his gun at Lincoln, and said-
  Trina: (comes into the room, to Robbie) I'm gonna kill you!
• The Cameo: Jerry Trainor is in the audience during Trina's show.
• Comically Missing the Point: Beck tells Tori he's reluctant to get back together with Jade because she's not done a nice thing for him in two years. When Tori repeats this to Jade, she insists this isn't true...because they've only dated for a year and eleven months.
• Easily Forgiven: Despite the dog severely injuring Beck's dad, he still decides to get back together with Jade. In all fairness, she was genuinely remorseful and she only got him the dog because it was the breed he wanted.
• Hypocritical Humor: This exchange when Beck asks for Tori's opinion on him being just friends with Alyssa Vaughn;
  Beck: If you were my girlfriend...
  Jade: Oh, great way to start the question!
  Beck: Would you be all freaked out that I'm just friends with Alyssa Vaughn?
  Jade: [dismissive] Who cares what she thinks?
  Tori: Honestly, I wouldn't love it.
  Jade: I care what she thinks.
• It Is Dehumanising: During Jade insisting she has no problem with Beck hanging out with Alyssa Vaughn after their break up.
  Jade: If Beck wants to go out with that, I hope he has tonnes of fun with it!
• Loophole Abuse: When visiting Beck, Tori notices that he lives in an RV parked in his parent's driveway. When she asks him why, he replies that his parents told him that if he lived in their house, he has to live by their rules.
  Tori: So, your house?
  Beck: My rules.
• Moment Killer: As Jade and Beck get back together by kissing, Tori says "Awwww!" in adoration. The two look at her, and she lampshades that she ruined the moment.
• Mrs. Robinson: A female paramedic physically starts to flirt with Beck, asking if he's in college yet, but Jade clings herself against him and tells the older woman off.
• Parody Retcon: In-universe. Trina repeatedly harasses Robbie until he gives a positive review of her one woman show, but Robbie can't because it sucked. After telling André that the play was "So bad it was laughable." André suggests Robbie review it like a comedy. Trina is upset at first, but after getting a standing ovation from the audience, she goes along with it.
• Product Placement: Trina is seen wearing Nike Air Prestige III's when she and Tori are playing their game.
• "Shut Up" Kiss: Beck give this one to Jade:
  Jade: OK, it was kind of my idea, but I-I didn't think the dog would bug out like that. I just wanted to get you a dog because you've talked about getting one ever since I met you and I thought that maybe— (Beck kisses her) You love me again.
  Beck: Who said I stopped?
• Skewed Priorities: Jade during the dog attack. Tori even points it out.
  Jade: Dude, this is horrible!
  Tori: I know!
  Jade: Now he's never going to take me back.
  Tori: That is not the key issue right now!
• Ungrateful Bastard: After getting Jade and Beck to hook back up, Tori asks them for a ride home. They simply tell her that she can just walk home. Tori is quite offended by this lack of gratitude.
• The Villain Knows Where You Live: Trina threatens Robbie with this after his review of her play. Robbie retorts that he moved away, but quickly gives up his new address when Trina threatens him again.
  Trina: I know where you live!
  Robbie: No you don't! We moved last year!
  Trina: (grabs Robbie by the neck) What's your new address?!
  Robbie: 3707 Cahuenga. It's a duplex, we're on top!
  Trina: Got it.
• Walk-In Chime-In: During a conversation between Tori and Jade with the latter asking how Tori is progressing in trying to convince Beck to take her back:
  Jade: Do I have a boyfriend or don't I?!
  Sinjin: Do you want one?
  Jade: Walk away.
• Your Makeup Is Running: As a result of dumping Beck, Jade keeps crying in private. She ends up going to Tori's house to cry in private and wipes her eyes with one of Tori's pillows. Unfortunately, that pillow was made by Tori's grandmother, who is now dead, so she cannot make a new one for Tori.
