After breaking the wood and freeing the water, Prisoner 849 enters the dangerous temple of Chizra, the Nali Water God, a temple filled with dangers and enemies. Reaching the end of the area will prove to be quite the challenge.

This level shows examples of:

  • Brick Joke: "Wood must break free... for that will be the key". Your first obstacle is to shoot at some chains in a water pool in order to free a wooden, floating platform. Only then you'll be able to hit the switch above your head.
  • Durable Deathtrap: There are several of them inside the temple and they still hurt fine after the ages. Notably a hole in a wall that hurls arrows at you if you step on the right(?) tile and horizontal wooden poles which slap you across the face.
  • Establishing Character Moment:
    • Your first encounter with a Slith involves dropping from a bridge into a mostly empty zone with a switch in the middle and some scared Nali.
    • Your first encounter with Flies takes place in a room with a pillar in the middle and four windows from where they descend.
  • MacGuffin: The key to exit the area is to locate the "Stick of six fires"note .
  • Mayincatec: The level has a clear aztec temple inspiration. In fact, its Working Title used to be "Aztec".
  • Rewarding Vandalism: Vases can be destroyed in order to get goodies from them.
  • Video Game Caring Potential: Rescuing the Nali being attacked by the first Slith will make them reward you with hidden goodies.
