- The Bad Guy Wins:
- Megatron takes the Matrix of Leadership from Optimus.
- It is revealed off-screen that Deseeus and their army have defeated Doubledealer and his team of mercenaries using them like puppets and has taken over Doubledealer's ship the Fortune to attack the Transformers.
- Cliffhanger: Absolutely nothing gets revolved at the end. Elita-1 is still duking it out with Shockwave back on Cybertron, Megatron has taken the Matrix of Leadership out of Optimus, and Doubledealer's ship the Fortune explodes right in the radius of both the Nemesis (the Decepticons ship) and the Ark (the Autobots ship). Spaceship debris crashes on prehistoric Earth and a Velociraptor goes to investigate on this - before it turns out it's actually not an organic genuine Velociraptor but really DINOBOT (a Transformer disguised as a Velociraptor) and his curiosity has revealed to the viewer that the Ark has crashed onto Earth.
- Enemy Mine: The Autobots and Decepticons again, minus their respective leaders Optimus and Megatron, band together this time against the threat of Deseeus the last remaining Quintesson.
- If You Kill Him, You Will Be Just Like Him!: Most likely Cog's reason to object to Optimus planning on blowing Megatron's head off.
- Wham Shot: Dinobot from Beast Wars shows up at the end.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Cog's reaction to Optimus threatening to blast off Megatron's head.
