Recap / Tracker S1E2 "Cloud Nine"

Go To

Cole finds out that the alien fugitives possessed the bodies of train passengers and explains some of the details to Mel. Meanwhile, an Enixian named Kaden is producing an alien drug that gives both humans and aliens a big high, but it proves to be fatal to humans after a few doses. One of Jess's friends has a heart attack from the drug and is in critical condition. Cole finds the location of the club where Kaden is distributing the drug and, with Mel's help, infiltrates it by altering his appearance to that of one of the Enixians. However, his face reverts back before he can lure Kaden away. Cole uses his hyperspeed to take Kaden's life force and escape the club. He then goes to the movies with a woman he met earlier, much to Mel's chagrin.

  • Fantastic Drug: Kaden created a popular drug while in prison. The drug gives people a huge high and calms them down. The drug turns out to work on humans too, but it causes heart attacks after a few doses.
  • Power Incontinence: Enixians have extremely sensitive eyesight and hearing. This can be a good thing, but it also means they can be hurt by bright lights and loud noises.
  • The Reveal: Cole's real name is Daggon. Also, the reason the fugitives needed human bodies is because in prison they only had a portion of their life force, with little pieces of it returned as they served their sentence.
  • Super-Speed: Cole uses it to head off the escaping Kaden and take his life force.
  • Taking You with Me: After Cole is surrounded at the club, he warns the fugitives that they may kill him, but he will take the life force of at least a few of them, and the process is very painful. Naturally, no one risks going in first.
