In Germany, the contestants must sing a song at risk of an avalanche, make giant sausages to ride down a hill, and perform a traditional German dance. Lindsay finally remembers Tyler's name, and Alejandro pushes Leshawna into attacking Heather.

- Always Need What You Gave Up: It turns out that the electric meat grinder Team Amazon won in New York would've been really handy to have for the current challenge, which contains a part where the teams have to make sausages by grinding meat manually. However, Heather was under the impression it was a joke reward and threw it out of the plane in frustration and in spite of Courtney's protest. Upon hearing what the current challenge entails, Courtney lets Heather have it.Heather: Who got us the win in New York?
Courtney: Who threw out the electric grinder? - Big Eater: Owen proves to be one again, by eating all the raw meat that his team were supposed to use for a giant sausage to ride down the hill, not really caring about the possibility of getting salmonella. Alejandro gets the idea to use Owen as their sausage sled instead, which Chris allows.Chris: Owen is stuffed with meat. I'd say he's fit for sausage duty!
- Big "NO!": Leshawna yells one once Alejandro pushes her off the plane.
- Big "YES!": Tyler, once Lindsay finally remembers his name.
- Black Comedy Cannibalism: The killer baby mountain goat that Chris sets onto the contestants, easily eats one of the already-vicious mountain goats that were previously on the mountain.
- Body Sled: The teams have to prepare a giant meat sausage to glide down the mountain on. The food-addicted Owen eats most of the meat when left unsupervised and becomes stuffed like a sausage. Alejandro makes the argument that under the circumstances, Owen qualifies as a sausage sled. Chris agrees and Owen doesn't object. While this is a solution, Alejandro remains angry and takes charge of steering the sled just so that he can get Owen smacked in the face with various obstacles along the road.
- Cassandra Truth: Heather tries to warn Leshawna about Alejandro's true intentions, but Leshawna dismisses her saying that anyone that Heather can't stand must be a good person.
- Comedic Underwear Exposure: Sierra obliviously lets her pants fall down while showing the confessional cam all the notches she puts in her belt.
- Company Cross References: Lindsay mishears that there's a sale at the Khaki Barn.
- Dance-Off: The second part of the challenge involves the contestants dancing against a member of another team.
- Duck!: Team Victory is charged by a cute yet vicious goat. Leshawna warns her team to duck when the goat leaps at them, prompting Lindsay to correct her that they're dealing with a goat. Leshawna quickly forces Lindsay down to get her out of the goat's trajectory.
- Electric Torture: If they get one step wrong, the dance floor they use will electrocute them.

- "Good Luck" Gesture: As Team Victory sits out the tension preceding the reveal who is voted off, Leshawna, who could be the one voted off, keeps her fingers crossed and her eyes closed.

- Hair-Trigger Avalanche: Chris forces the teams to sing in an avalanche-sensitive area in Germany. They pull through while whispering without triggering anything until Tyler shouts out in happiness because Lindsay finally recognizes him as her boyfriend.
- Hand Gagging: While standing in an avalanche-sensitive area, Lindsay mishears Chris's instruction to stay quiet as that there's a sale at the Khaki Bar and screams in delight. Both Tyler and Cody slap a hand over her mouth timely to prevent the snow from coming loose. Noah also pinches Owen's lips shut in warning in case he'd think about being loud.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Alejandro, feeling a little bad for Heather getting beaten up, only just loses to Sierra so Team Amazon can win. Heather notices this immediately.
- Human Snowball: Team Amazon attempts to descent the mountain with a poorly filled sausage molded into a sled. All five of them fall off when they hit a ramp and go tumbling, picking up snow along the way until they reach the finish line together as one big human-filled snowball.
- Hypocrite: Sierra claims Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot will get overconfident due to not voting anyone out yet, even though not only is Team Amazon in the same position, but they have been in first class every time so they're more likely to get overconfident.
- Idiot Ball:
- After Leshawna knocks Heather off the platform in the dancing challenge, one would expect that she would remain in her own platform until the end of the round, after which she would face either Alejandro or Sierra. Instead, she gets off the platform to beat up Heather, unintentionally throwing the challenge. Had Leshawna stayed on her platform, she could have waited for Alejandro and Sierra to finish their fight and then, no matter the result, Team Victory wouldn't get last place, and she wouldn't have been eliminated.
- Owen is also affected by this, as eating all the meat that was meant for the sausage could have seriously hindered his team on the first part of the challenge, had Alejandro not had the idea of making the whole team Chris descend the mountain riding Owen himself.
- Killer Rabbit: The deadly mountain goat that Chris forces the contestants to go through when going down the mountain. Luckily, DJ's animal curse makes sure that the goat is quickly taken out of commission before it can do much harm to the contestants.
- Lens Flare: Used when Team Amazon flies while descending the mountain on their snowboard-shaped sausage... right before all of them fall from the sausage and roll in the snow to the finish line.
- Lethally Stupid: Tyler accidentally causes an avalanche with his overjoyed scream after Chris warned everyone to keep it down. Note that this was after he and Cody had to shush Lindsay for doing the same.
- Mass "Oh, Crap!": All the contestants panic when they realize Tyler kickstarts an avalanche. Except for Izzy, who just smiles.
