Vincent Parry is the most successful property developer in Cardiff. A while ago he made an agreement with the mysterious Ro-Jedda, and it is an arrangement he has come to bitterly regret. Something has to be done – but it’s going to cost him everything he loves. With time running out for Cardiff, Torchwood encounter an alien who knows them only too well.
Tropes:
- Hooker with a Heart of Gold: Orr.
- Ethical Slut: Orr. They only have relations with people to make them happy.
- Sex Slave: Orr to Vincent Parry, they state much of their life has been this way. Poor Sod.
- Suicide Attack: An honestly uncomfortably realistic one, with a Sorvix exploding a large section of Cardiff chanting on the superiority of their god.
- The Lost Lenore: Orr makes Tyler see one of his exes, which causes him a lot of pain. Orr wants to appear as Ianto to Jack, but he says no.
- Shapeshifting: Orr appears as whatever the people around them are attracted to.
- Distracted by the Sexy: The entire cast, around Orr.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Orr's past is truly geniunely horrible. This may be glossed over, but considering they keep the face of Catrin after Vincent's death, as a tribute, saying that jerky Vincent Parry was one of her nicer masters is actually a fairly large dose of Fridge Horror.
- Call-Forward: Someone mentions the posh new hotel down by the bay...
