- Assimilation Plot: Per every Ng story, but this is where it's first revealed.
- Bizarre Alien Biology: The Sorvix are identical to humans, minus A GIANT GAPING MOUTH ON THEIR BACKS. They eat people alive this way.
- Never Trust a Title: Tyler and Jack have a fling and a stripper is eaten alive, (no, not in that way) so it's actually fairly tame in terms of Torchwood episodes.
- The Reveal: Damn big one. Ng has replaced Gwen.
