Otomi flies with Sekai on her broom, so fast he can barely hang on. They are joined by the other two witches. Otomi reveals the blonde is named Okiku and the redhead is named Otaki. Otaki teases Otomi for landing such a handsome man. Otomi says they are about start a raid, but their fellow witches are late. They speed up with Sekai complaining that they are even faster than Bahamut.

Discius has a golem escort Lucille to him and she asks what he wants. Addressing her as Lucille Road, he says he needs to show her something. She asks why her since they don't know each other. He tells her to look over the edge. They are hovering over the capital city of the kingdom of RiverVillage. It refused to join them, so they will be punished. At his command, a magic stone within Shinra powers up, then the floating continent blasts the city with lightning, causing untold devastation. Discius says if RiverVillage doesn't agree to join them the next time they come, it will feel Heaven's Wrath once more. Horrified, Lucille asks why he is doing this. He claims the elves have sacred mission to subjugate humanity from Hymenaeus, the Celestial god.

Meanwhile, Otomi tells Sekai that Discius' gravity magic came from worshiping Hymenaeus. That kind of magic was considered lost, so the League of Mages had no idea that Discius could use it. She laments that even though she was guest of the elf village for a while, she had no idea about Discius' plans to turn it into a floating continent. The slime creature was right about one thing: they should have used more violent measures against the elves. Now, everything is going to Hell. The floating elf village has been renamed Heaven's Wrath and has attacked over twenty countries. In the past year, it has destroyed over 50 cities with lightning strikes and it cannot be attacked from the ground. She asks Sekai that if they take him to the village, to please stop Discius. He promises.

They are almost there, but the village is surrounded by a force field, which why they could not invade until now. Sekai wonders if their trip was pointless, but Otomi says the moment that he was freed from petrification, she felt fate was on their side. The League of Mages has been monitoring the village's moments. It is being directed by the wind, and by today's forecast, it is about to enter the Realm of Darkness.

A bunch of flying darklings with Zaraza riding on one, approach the village. She complains that they were supposed to be attacking Belltree at this time, but now they have to deal with this invader. She says it will be destroyed just like the first floating city that existed 2000 years ago. The darklings start to ram the force field. Discius calls them fools. Lucille hears a voice and turns away to see Sekai and the witches in the sky, and she remembers him. Sekai shouts that he's here to save her. Discius recognizes him and says he and the witches are an eyesore. He orders his golem to take Lucille to her room. She says she wants to stay, but the golem drags her to her room and locks the door. Lucille says he heard Sekai was petrified, but it was really him. He said he was going to save her, but she cries and says it is too late. Otomi says they will wait for the darklings to break the force field, then slip in. Sekai gets excited.
