Keeping time frozen, Sekai reveals he gathered some spider threads from the maze and weaves them around a branch to make a net. He waves it around, hoping to catch something tiny or invisible, but gets nothing. He plucks a hair from everybody in the building, then hides and unfreezes time. One of the hairs turns into slime, so he confirms that one of the elf men is a shape-shifting slime creature similar to the fake King Nazar. He remembers how Nazar slashed him and realizes this is how Aksho was slashed. He freezes time again and considers his options because he won't be able to tie him up and these creatures are fast.
He goes outside and unfreezes time when he is in front of Otomi. She is shocked that he appeared out of nowhere, but he quickly explains the situation and asks for help. Intrigued by the mention of a shape-shifter, she fires a spell that freezes the entire building in ice. Shocked, he goes inside and sees everybody is frozen. She says they couldn't let the murderer escape. Annoyed, he freezes time to pull off her top and grope her breasts, amazed that they look and feel so good when he remembered her and her sisters saying they were over 200 years old. He then pulls off her bottom, but nearly throws up when he sees her vagina, instantly regretting his decision.
He puts her clothes back and unfreezes time, then shows her the frozen murderer. They carry him to her cabin and she puts him in a giant glass jar. She assures him that the elves will be fine because they have high magic resistance. The ice disappears and the man screams for help, but Otomi says no one will hear him and Sekai says they know what he truly is. Annoyed, the man returns to his original slime form. Otomi gets excited at actually seeing a slime creature. The slime demands to be released, saying if they don't, then in two days, a group of bandits and assassins will attack the village, a contingency in case it failed.
The slime claims its race wants peace. Sekai calls bullshit since it killed Aksho, but it says it was trying to steer the debate toward the elves opening its borders, and since Aksho opposed this, he had to die. It says it is revealing its secrets because the two of them are not elves. It says since Otomi is an ambassador from the League of Mages, they should be on the same side. The elves are dangerous and scheming to conquer the world. They must open their borders so that they can be stopped in the name of world peace. Sekai calls it out on planning to destroy the village with bandits, but it says it has nothing more to say and turns into a rock. Otomi shrugs and says she doesn't really care about the village, then asks if he will release it.
He freezes time and walks outside. The timer has roughly 42 hours left. He thinks the slime is too dangerous to release, but he will likely run out of time before the bandits attack. Deciding he needs more allies, he finds Fury and unfreezes time, shocking her, then asks her to lend him her wisdom.
