Lady Penelope and Parker investigate a series of robberies on a number of stately homes and discover a plot to steal The Crown Jewels!
This episode provides examples of:
- Adapted Out: The store assistants at Wickfens from the audio are removed.
- Adaptation Expansion: There is an additional plot point added where the crooks blow up the stately homes after they have robbed them. This leads to International Rescue getting involved, who were absent from the original audio drama, where they have to defuse a bomb in the Tower of London before it explodes.
- Bland-Name Product: The name of the shop Penelope visits, Wickfens, is a play on English store "Fenwicks".
- Incredibly Obvious Bomb: The bomb used by the crooks as the words "Auto Bomb" written on it and shows how much time is left before it explodes.
- Mythology Gag: During the opening scene, a portrait of a Gazelle can be seen hanging in a stately home.
