Go To

Winnie is still mad at Kevin over the things Kevin had said about her behind her back. Kevin sees bully Eddie Pinetti getting into her locker and tries to stop him, turning him against Kevin. Word gets out at the school, and Carla tells Kevin that Winnie wants to know if what happened is true. Kevin thinks this means that Winnie has forgiven him, but to his dismay learns that she's dating Eddie. Kevin warns Winnie about it, but Winnie doesn't think Eddie is that bad. Eventually, Kevin sees Eddie picking on Winnie, and decides to take a stand. Eddie, however, ends up beating up Kevin for a long period of time, then decides to leave him alone. Winnie finaly forgives Kevin after this.

Includes examples of

  • Bittersweet Ending: Kevin gets a massive beating from Eddie Pinetti, but Winnie forgives him afterwards.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Eddie's massive beatdown of Kevin in the climatic scene, before telling him he's pathetic and walks away.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Kevin has to stand up to and get beaten by Eddie before Winnie forgives him after the events from the previous episode.
  • Easily Forgiven: Possibly. After how mad everyone was at Kevin over the things he'd previously said about them behind their backs in the previous episode, that seems to have been forgotten about by the time of this episode, with the exception of Winnie still being mad at him. In the previous episode, Paul was the only one to come close to forgiving him. But it's possible that most of them were only mad at him at the moment and soon forgave and forgot about it quickly. On the other hand, for those who haven't seen the previous episode, it's barely even mentioned why Winnie is mad at Kevin, with Winnie only briefly pointing out that one of Eddie's good qualities is that he doesn't talk about people behind their backs.
  • No-Sell: Eddie lets Kevin take his best shot at him when he is stood up to ... and Kevin lets loose with the hardest swing he can muster. Unfortunately for Kevin, Eddie can't even feel it ... and then really lets loose.
