For one, she never explains where she got her wound or why the group of children were separated in the first place. Then there's the kids themselves, who come off as somewhat stoic and creepy.
Pregnant Badass: In the flashback, a visibly pregnant Michonne shows no restraints on fucking up her opponents.
The Farmer and the Viper: Michonne allows Jocelyn into the safe zone, unaware of her true nature.
The Reveal: This episode finally details, in flashbacks, what happened at Alexandria that so severely hardened Michonne and brought on her isolationism.

What Happened to the Mouse?: Though Jocelyn and most of her kids are killed by Michonne, one of them (Winnie) survives since Michonne doesn't want to kill anymore and tells the messed up kid to go away.
Worf Had the Flu: Due to being heavily pregnant, Michonne deeply struggles fighting Jocelyn’s group.
Would Hurt a Child: Michonne is obviously reluctant to fight children, but when they keep attacking her she finally stops holding back.
