As the Warlock Lord heads towards Leah with Lyria as his prisoner and Eretria as his mind-controlled slave, the heroes prepare to make their last stand.
- Awesome Moment of Crowning: Lyria is crowned Queen of Leah.
- Blood Magic: The Warlock Lord sheds his blood into Heaven's Well to spread his power over the Four Lands. Later, Wil lets himself bleed out in the water to undo the effects.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Wil makes one to purify Heaven's Well and undo the contamination of the Silver River. The final scene shows that he didn't actually die, though.
- Hollywood Exorcism: Cogline and Jax perform what amounts to this to get the Mord Wraith out of Eretria.
- Not Quite Dead: Wil turns out to be still alive, though he appears to be trapped in the Forbidding or maybe somewhere even nastier.
- Sequel Hook: For another season. Wil is alive in a desolate landscape where the sky is full of monstrous flying beasts, and Mareth is intent on going after him. Also, Mareth is the new Druid of Paranor, and Eretria is intent on controlling the darkness within her so she can be with Lyria again.
