• Artistic License – Biology: The trio point out Dr. Stockman's ludicrous theory about how humans all have animal DNA in them because all mammals are related is a total Ass Pull.
• Big "NO!": The Critic and the Nerd's reaction to Michael Bay getting his fingerprints all over the film.
• Big "WHAT?!": The trio's response to Krang's admittedly fast-paced Motive Rant.
• Call-Back:
  • As shown in The Smurfs review Andre the Black Nerd was meant to be involved in the Critic and the Nerd's review of the first movie.
  • Michael Bay is still paired with Zack Snyder since the last review.
• Crossover: With The Angry Video Game Nerd and Andre the Black Nerd. Guest-starring Jon Bailey.
• Designated Hero: The trio believe Leonardo is more selfish than heroic, to the point where they brand him the worst leader ever.
• Dull Surprise: The review shows how Megan Fox plays April in this movie as having no emotion at all. Even Tamara acts like this with NC and Nerd shouting NOOO at Michael Bay.
• Fusion Dance: Michael Bay and Zack Snyder apparently fused into one and became a giant monster.
• Giant Space Flea from Nowhere: The trio view Krang's sudden appearance in the movie as a villainous presence that comes from out of nowhere. Also Jon Bailey's composite nostalgia monster is this.
• In Name Only: The trio views Casey Jones as a completely separate character compared to most incarnations.
• Lethally Stupid: Naturally, Michael Bay is seen as a destructive force that ruins good ideas.
• The Load: The trio see April and Vern as this since Casey and the Turtles do most of the action.
• So Okay, It's Average: The trio's final opinion on the movie.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: The trio are upset the Turtles fight Bebop and Rocksteady only once in the movie.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The trio aren't happy the "turtles turning human" subplot was completely rushed.
• Villain Decay: The trio view Shredder's depiction in most TMNT adaptations to have become the villain losing his coolness.
• Wangst: The trio's perception of Casey Jones' desire to be badass came across as annoying to them.
• You Don't Look Like You: The guys point out that this movie's Shredder is completely different from the previous version who, even when framed in shadow, still had Bald of Evil while this version has a full head of hair and a beard.
