- Downer Ending: Vincent Price blows up the Critic at the end with a hidden time bomb. As a post-mortem line, he says, "Ooh, I love it when I'm nasty!"
- Good News, Bad News: (according to The Critic) The bad news is, the movie (as released) sucks. The good news is, "The Recobbled Cut" is a much better movie.
