While on their way to the Mystery Club Convention one night, the gang observes a plane acting suspiciously, and soon meet Batman and Robin, who are investigating the same thing. The plane turns out to be used in a counterfeiting ring, run by Batman's classic foes Joker and Penguin, and the gang must aid the Caped Crusaders in capturing the two.

- Spoonerism: Batman deliberately invokes this when the Joker and Penguin fall into the escape-proof pit he and Robin are in and the Joker attempts to climb up the slick wall but can't:
- Batman: How about that. The Clown Prince of Crime has become the Crown Prince of Climb.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: The two henchmen for the counterfeiting ring (the pilot and the jeep driver) disappear pretty early on.
- Your Mom: The Joker does this to Scooby at one point.Daphne: Do you know Mrs. Baker?Joker: I know who Mrs. Baker is. [points to Scooby] She's that creature's mother! Bow wow!
