The gang meets The Three Stooges — Moe, Larry and Curly-Joe — and end up helping them with their latest project, a theme park based on a ghost town... which is inexplicably actually haunted.
This episode contains examples of:
- Animal Gender-Bender: Ngogi the orangutan is referred to as male, but lacks flanges like a female orangutan. Probably justified as male orangutans grow in their flanges at a certain age.
- Dumbass Has a Point: The Three Stooges are absolutely correct to find Rhino suspicious and in fact would have fired him some time ago if not for the fact that they are afraid of him.
- Giant Flyer: Part of the culprit's hoax involved a giant bat (actually a disguised truck), which they were using to smuggle illegally obtained uranium out of the area.
- Powder Gag: Shaggy falls to a storage cellar, hitting containers of a white powder and getting himself covered in it. The villains think he's a real ghost and run away in fear as he calmly tells them, "What's wrong? Have you never seen a flour child?"
- "Scooby-Doo" Hoax: The culprits disguised themselves as a gunslinger and the Indian chief Geronimo in order to scare people away from a uranium mine, intending to illegally dig it up and smuggle it across the border.
