- Here We Go Again!: After Miss Piggy is finally turned back from her petrification after the characters have spent the whole episode dealing with and trying to reverse her condition, Kermit asks Randall how he made it happen in the first place. Randall off-handedly recites the spell that turned her into stone, this time accidentally turning Kermit into stone instead.
- Spell Book: The episode's plot gets kicked off when Randall shows Miss Piggy a spellbook he's reading. Assuming it's fake, he recites a spell that's supposed to turn people into stone. Unfortunately, the book turns out to be very real, and Miss Piggy gets petrified.

Floyd: Well, she's afraid he'll take her for granite! - Tuckerization: The spells Tony reads while trying to turn Miss Piggy back are the names of the Muppeteers said backwards.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: It's revealed in the Pigs in Space sketch that Dr. Strangepork has a device to change Piggy back, and he briefly does, but, due to her hostility, turns her back to stone because he and Link preferred the peacefulness of when she couldn't do anything.
- Statler: I once knew a whole chorus line that was turned to stone.
Waldorf: What chorus line was that?
