On one boring summer day, Billy, Mandy, Grim, and Irwin decide to look into the future for fun. In the future, Mandy rules the earth as an immortal half-breed, half-worm demon, half-human dictator. Grim is still her best friend, and her idiotic Billy clones keep her company. Mandy's source of power is cinnamon, and lies to Billy about cinnamon's only weakness. Grim leads Billy into the team of rebellions against Mandy, and Billy tells them the fake weakness, leading them out and getting arrested by Mandy. Though it may seem impossible for her to have known that they were coming, it turns out that she knew from looking at the crystal ball in the present.
"Mandy the Merciless" contains examples of...
- Affectionate Parody: Of Dune.
- Bad Future: The story revolves around a future where Mandy has taken over the world by transforming into a giant worm-like creature and entertains herself with Billy clones who regularly die.
- The Bad Guy Wins: The resistance fails in stopping dictator Mandy and get arrested, Grim in particular getting subjected to torment for treason.
- Batman Gambit: Mandy tells Billy her weakness is frogs, which Billy goes on to tell the resistance. The resistance eventually break into Mandy's lair to launch frogs at her, with no effect. Mandy reveals that she lied to Billy about her weakness, knowing he'd probably tell, in a ploy to lure out the rebels.
- Clone Degeneration: A future is shown where Mandy has achieved immortality, became ruler of the world, and kept clones of Billy around. When the newest clone is incapable of noticing that Mandy is now an enormous half-worm half-human hybrid, Grim comments that he swears the Billys get dumber with each cloning.
- Whole-Plot Reference: To God-Emperor of Dune, Mandy being Leto II and Billy as Duncan Idaho.
"Creating Chaos"

When Billy, Mandy, and Grim go fishing, Eris, the goddess of chaos, gets Billy to help her use the Apple of Discord to create chaos (after her father grounded her). Instead of using the apple, Billy becomes distracted with his own idiotic errands, leading Eris to go insane. In the end, Billy finally decides to start creating chaos, but Eris is already too altered that she runs away.
"Creating Chaos" contains examples of...
- Batman Gambit: It's heavily implied that Mandy knew Billy would ultimately drive Eris crazy before the goddess would even have the chance to cause any chaos, judging by what she says when she and Grim see Eris running away screaming.Mandy: Right on schedule.
- A Good, Old-Fashioned Paint Watching: This is among the several inane things Billy insists that he has to do before he can use the Apple of Discord for Eris.
- Too Spicy for Yog-Sothoth: Eris plans to use Billy as a tool in driving the world insane. He promptly drives her insane by taking forever to get ready, doing such things as dripping honey on toast and watching paint dry. By the time he's actually ready, Eris has already cracked and runs away.
- Villainous Breakdown: Eris has this at the end after having to sit through Billy's shenanigans.
"The Really Odd Couple"

Billy accidentally sets off a powerful stink bomb in Mandy's house and, while the house is being disinfected, Mandy's family goes to live with Billy's. Then, Billy and Mandy have a dispute over how to split Billy's room, prompting Grim to intervene. In the end, Mandy takes over the entire room, and traps Billy behind a brick wall.

- Affectionate Parody: Of The Odd Couple (1970). The Grim & Evil version, as well as few of the foreign dubs, even took it the extra mile and utilized a Laugh Track.
- Angrish: Grim has a moment of this when he's finally has enough of Billy and Mandy's bickering.
- Five-Second Foreshadowing: When Billy and Mandy promise Grim that they'll get along, Mandy puts her arm behind her back, indicating she's pulling a Lying Finger Cross.
- Shout-Out: The story ends with Mandy sealing a Bound and Gagged Billy in his closet behind a brick wall, a la The Cask of Amontillado.
- Stink Bomb: Billy makes one that kick-starts the plot.
- Sudden Downer Ending: When it seems as though Grim has gotten through to Billy and Mandy, the final scene shows a Mandy building a brick wall in the closet with a bound, gagged, and terrified Billy being trapped in it.
