Plot
Penny goes on a spa weekend with Amy when she thinks Leonard is taking her for granted. Meanwhile, Howard and Raj try to fix a squeaky floorboard.
Tropes:
- Complexity Addiction: The system Howard comes up to avoid the squeaky floor, which involves a lot of complex acrobatics. Raj compares it to a Dungeons & Dragons gameboard.
- Daydream Surprise: The episode begins with Leonard treating Penny to a romantic evening. Suddenly he burps loudly and Penny snaps back to reality, where Leonard is in his underwear playing video games.
- Hypocrite: Once again, Penny is this as she feels Leonard isn't putting effort in there relationship despite him being the only one to do so since day one.
- What makes Penny actions even more hypocritical is the fact that her inability to fully commit in the past has derailed her relationship with Leonard many times.
- Imagine Spot: Every time Howard thinks of a way to get across the room, there's a scene of Howard trying it and getting hurt. Raj even does it for an idea given sarcastically, purely because it's funny to imagine.
