Gumball is determined to have the perfect school picture, but his new sculpted face is in danger of being mutilated by Banana Joe.

- Gumball having a terrible yearbook picture was something Leslie pointed out in "The Mystery" when Gumball kept talking about how handsome Penny thinks he is.
- Tobias makes the same pose in his picture that Darwin criticized him for in "The Words".
- Downer Ending: Gumball ruins his final school picture when he sneezes midshot.

Gumball: What's he talking about? Where is it?

Gumball: Wait a minute... he thinks you're the hobgoblin.
Darwin: Sure. I'm the hobgoblin. - Picture Day: Gumball is trying to get his first good picture ever.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: Gumball's last chance at a photo with his "perfect" face is ruined when he sneezes—but it was definitely for the best, given said face was extremely creepy to everyone but him.
- Self-Serving Memory: Running into Alan later, Gumball is worried he'll seek revenge for being beaten up by Gumball earlier. Gumball certainly tried to beat Alan up, but all he succeeded in doing was hurting himself without harming Alan at all.
- Wimp Fight: Gumball tries to beat up Alan for supposedly lying to him about how to look good in photos. Alan just keeps bouncing from his hits back into his face until Gumball collapses from exhaustion.
