Gumball is traumatized by a kiss from his Grandma Jojo when she comes to visit, and tries to force himself to forget it. Meanwhile, Anais struggles to get Granny Jojo's suitcases up the stairs.

Darwin: Uh huh. - Brain Bleach: Gumball spends the episode trying to force himself to forget Jojo's kiss, which he succeeds at, leading to it happening again.
- Catapult Nightmare: Gumball gets one after a dream where everything was turning into Granny Jojo and asking for a kiss. It was apparently the fifth one that night.
- Gratuitous French: The ice cream truck Darwin visits is called "Miam Miam Ice Cream". "Miam Miam" is French for "Yum Yum".
- Happy Place: Darwin tries to get Gumball forget about the kiss by finding his happy place. We see Darwin's is "everywhere", as everyone and everything happily greets him as he goes on his way.
- Here We Go Again!: After Gumball finally forgets Granny Jojo's kiss and finding his happy place, Granny Jojo kiss him again in the end.
- Heroic BSoD: Gumball has one when Grandma Jojo kisses him on the lips by accident.
- Hypocritical Humor: Granny Jojo tells Gumball to say her name... five seconds after calling him "the blue one".
- Misophonia Gag: Exploited. Gumball tries to get over the trauma of Granny Jojo's kiss by running an obstacle course full of more traumatizing events. One of the obstacles is the "Sounds of Suffering," where Gumball's classmates torture him by scratching a chalkboard, scraping a fork on a plate, and rubbing against Alan the balloon.
- Offscreen Teleportation: Gumball climbs up a scaffold and Darwin somehow got up there in the process without passing him. He's back down at the ground within seconds of Gumball jumping off.
- Ragequit: Anais spends all weekend trying to get her grandmother's luggage up the stairs. When she finally shouts that she did it, Granny Jojo congratulates her, prompting a joyous look on Anais' face. Granny Jojo then tells her to bring it back down since the bus is about to arrive soon. The look on Anais' face then shows that she has had more than enough. She promptly throws the luggage out the window.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: Gumball gets traumatized once more by one of Grandma Jojo's kisses after spending the whole episode trying to snap out of it.
