A statue of the Bloodwolf has been summoned from beneath San Lorezno, and soon the great beast itself will return, Puss in Boots takes all the blame. Tropes

  • Call-Back:
    • Puss once again tries to assure himself by reciting the Opening Narration from the first episode, but this time he doesn't even believe he is hero enough to be worthy of it.
    • The Molemen and Megamicre return, wondering why their civilization under San Lorenzo is no longer underground.
    • Puss argues his guilt at his trial by listing all the examples of what a terrible guardian of San Lorenzo he is, including the time he brought a dragon to town.
  • Cliffhanger: Puss is taken away to face imprisonment by the Mole King.
  • Cliffhanger Copout: The previous episode's season finale implied that the massive figure that rose from under San Lorenzo was the Bloodwolf itself and an immediate threat, but it turns out to just be a statue representing the Bloodwolf that will eventually at some point lead to his return, just not right away.
  • Furry Reminder: As a cat, Puss naturally tries to hide from the town in the highest place he can find. As another cat, Dulcinea naturally looks for him there first.
  • Heroic BSoD: Puss has a bad case of it, to the point where he changes his name to Manuel With Shoes and when he is put on trial, he actively asserts his guilt.
  • Improbable Weapon User: "Manuel" commits to his bit as a musician, and when attacked by the molemen and megamicre, fights them off with his guitar instead of his sword.
Manuel/Puss: The guitar is mightier than the sword! En garde! ...I mean, en guitarde!
  • It's All My Fault: Puss places all the blame for the Bloodwolf on himself, to the point when defending his guilt, he describes the incident as if he himself personally summoned the Bloodwolf.
  • Kite Riding: A thief has to do this to infiltrate San Lorenzo, as the massive Bloodwolf statue standing under it is too tall to allow access to the city otherwise.
  • New Job Episode: Puss tries out several odd jobs after retiring as a hero.
