Recap / Teen Titans Go S 6 E 29 Ghost With The Most

Go To

  • Crossover: With Beetlejuice.
  • Gory Discretion Shot: Used when the Titans enter the Netherworld. After they crashed into the wall trying to go through the door, Beetlejuice informed them that they had to die in order to go through, and promptly turned his hand into an axe in order to do the deed. Cut to black.
  • Halloween Episode: The Titans are saving Halloween once again.
  • Mythology Gag: When asked to help by the Titans, Beetlejuice at first shrugs them off by saying he's very busy, as he has the Broadway show, the Hawaiian vacation and is engaged to Winona Ryder before relenting, nodding to the musical, one of the concepts for the unreleased sequel, and the climax of the original. Also counts as an Actor Allusion as he's played by Alex Brightman, the original Broadway actor.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: The Titans being dead goes unaddressed at the end of the episode. Then again, the show has run on Negative Continuity ever since "Ghost Boy". This is not the first time they've died.
  • Xanatos Gambit: Beetlejuice kidnapped the Halloween spirit to take over the holiday and then deliberately made sure the Titans would call him for help so he could lead them to being trapped into the Lost Souls Room before they could stop him.
