Mario has to go to the dentist, along with Tari and Swagmaster. Unfortunately, the dentist may run into some trouble...
This episode of SMG4 provides examples of:
- Afraid of Doctors: Tari and Swagmaster are terrified of going to the dentist, which drives the plot.
- Breather Episode: Just like Mario Does the Chores and Mario Scratches His Ass beforehand, this video is one to the Wham Episode that is the 10th Anniversary special.
- Call-Back: Swagmaster calls Tari "Terry" like he did in "If Mario Was In Meta Runner".
- The Dentist Episode: Well, duh.
- Depraved Dentist: The dentist (none other than Medic himself), clearly pissed off with Mario for giving him so much trouble, tries to fix Mario's teeth with a gun. Later, after Mario kicks him in the shin, he attempts to saw Mario's dick off with a chainsaw. Mario also turns out to be this through incompetence alone.
- Determinator: Saiko does everything in her power to make Tari go to the dentist (so long as that dentist isn't Mario), culminating in chasing her to the ends of the Earth. Chris is doing the same, just with Swag instead. The two team up to chase them down after Swag and Tari attempt to Run for the Border.
- DIY Dentistry: After Mario accidentally sets fire to the dentist, he has to clean Tari's teeth himself. It goes about as well as you'd expect.
- Foreign Cuss Word: Swag exclaims "AH MIERDE"note when the rest of the gang find him in Mexico.
- Gainax Ending: The episode ends with the Dr. Amigo ad, with Tari and Swagmaster's heads photoshopped onto the patients, and Saiko's head on a nurse.
- Hourglass Plot: At the start of the episode, Tari is terrified of going to the dentist, while Saiko struggles to keep her from trying to escape. Once Mario becomes her dentist, Tari becomes much more willing to go while Saiko is trying to stop her from doing something stupid. Of course, it goes back to before when Mario's attempt causes her teeth to explode and Swagmaster flees with her to Mexico.
- Hypocritical Humor: Swag to Chris as he tries to escape to Mexico with Tari.Chris: Swag you horrible influence. Stop the car now!
Swagmaster: Bad influence? The audacity. Here Tari take this glock and start shooting at them. - Revisiting the Roots: For a while, it seemed like Gainax Endings were becoming a thing of the past, with SMG4 once saying that they're all but impossible to work in with multiple people (i.e. Glitch Productions) helping you. But for this one, they're back in full force.
- Run for the Border: Parodied; Swagmaster and Tari attempt to flee to Mexico to escape going to the dentist.
- Serial Escalation: The episode starts with Mario and friends visiting the dentist, but eventually escalates to Swag kidnapping Tari and fleeing to Mexico.
- Shown Their Work: All of the copyright-infringing taco stands seen in Mexico are real◊ establishments◊.
- South of the Border: Also parodied; Mexico is depicted as a small farm in a desert with lots of chickens and bootleg taco stands.
- Take That!: In Swag's getaway, he runs over Donald Trump, who is infamous for wanting to build a wall in Mexico.
- Tempting Fate: After Mario cleans Tari's teeth using a crowbar, a drill, a pair of sticks, and the Old Man, Mario comments that he can't believe it worked. Cue Tari's teeth literally exploding.
- Too Dumb to Live: Mario, big surprise. The reason he's going to the dentist to begin with is because he ate some spaghetti out of the garbage, which visibly contains shards of glass and a syringe.
- The Tooth Hurts: Tari's teeth literally explode thanks to Mario's botched cleaning.
- Unreveal Angle: Tari's fringe covers her eyes from a camera angle right of her head (taking advantage of the design feature of her fringe being on her right) during the brief Xenomorph gag, when said Xenomorph emerges from her mouth and attacks Mario. Why the viewer isn't allowed to see her eyes in that situation is uncertain.
