- Unishment: Mario manages to negate the Grand Council of Tax Fraud's initial punishments, by kicking a lawyer man in the groin, simply collecting the money sent flying at him and not even reacting much to the tax seizure documents being used against him, most likely because he doesn't know how to correctly do his taxes in the first place.
- You Can't Go Home Again: Yoshi tells Mario that this trope will be in effect after breaking out of jail, and he's not wrong, considering that it's Hal Monitor who will be hunting them down.
