Recap / Strong Bad Email E 11 I Rule

Go To

Airdate: Monday, January 28, 2002

Sender: Mike, UK

Strong Bad: (muttering to himself) Email, grumble grumble, email, grumble...

"Mike Uck" asks Strong Bad that if he's so evil, how come he doesn't rule the world, "or at least some kind of field". Strong Bad brags that he does, in fact, rule over a field.

Strong Bad: I mean I've totally ruled that field out behind the dumpsters since diaper school, man.

We cut to Strong Badia, a patch of bare dirt in front of a white fence with a tire leaning on it, with a sign composed of a cinder block and an old stop sign that has "Strong Badia: Pop Tire" written on it.

Strong Bad: Ah, my kingdom continues to flourish! Uh, carry on everyone.
(The Cheat appears from behind the fence and approaches the tire)
Strong Bad: Hey! The Cheat! What, you wanna get banished? Don't touch that!
(The Paper comes down)

Tropes:

  • Early-Installment Weirdness: Strong Bad, without the Bear Holding a Shark to keep The Cheat away from Strong Badia's tire, threatens to banish The Cheat from Strong Badia.
  • Egopolis: Strong Bad's kingdom, Strong Badia, is named after himself.
  • Insistent Terminology: Strong Bad continually pronounces the UK in "Mike, UK" as "uck", and treats it as part of Mike's name.

Strong Bad: (to The Cheat) What're you standing around for, man? Don't you have, like, some of my bidding to do?
