Stahl grows even more paranoid after killing Tyler, trying to manipulate Jax for her ends. SAMCRO decide to solve the problem with Jimmy O once and for all, even with his Russian protectors.
- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Stahl pleades Opie to spare her life just as he's done before, only this time, he's not inclined to show mercy.

- Bittersweet Ending: Jimmy and Stahl have been dealt with, a new deal has been made with the Irish Kings, Opie and Lyla are planning to marry, and Gemma has been acquitted, but six of the main Sons have to go to prison (albeit on a heavily reduced sentence), and Jax would miss the birth of his second son, while Unser's department is absorbed into San Joaquin County Sheriff Department and Jacob Hale wins the mayoral race, proceeding with many of his shady dealings.
- Book Ends: The episode's title "NS" forms a connection to the season's first episode's title "SO".
- Cool Old Guy: Lenny the Pimp is one of the First 9, able to exert massive influence even in prison.
- Counterfeit Cash: Chucky gives the Sons counterfeit money that they use to buy Jimmy from Putlova.
- Deus ex Machina: Chucky produces a box of counterfeit money he stole from Henry Lin that solves their financial problems.
- Face Death with Dignity: Jimmy doesn't beg and cry for mercy, instead calmly asking Chibs to take care of Fiona and Kerrianne."Take care of our girls, Filip, yeah?"
- Friend on the Force: Unser helps the Sons in their plan to take out both Stahl and Jimmy.
- Laser-Guided Karma: Two examples:
- Jimmy gave Chibs his Glasgow Grin when he exiled him from Ireland, so Chibs gives it to him as well before killing him.
- Opie executes Stahl the same way Donna was killed by Tig: shot in the back of the head from a sub-machinegun while sitting in a driver's seat.
- Only in It for the Money: Putlova gladly sells Jimmy out for 2 million dollars that he thinks are real. He isn't happy to find out it's all fake.
- Rewarded as a Traitor Deserves: Stahl reveals Jax as her informant in front of the MC... except that they knew it all along and sanctioned the whole thing in the first place.
- Smug Snake: Stahl is extremely smug when she tells Clay that Jax is the rat.
- Spanner in the Works: Gemma nearly ruins Jax's meticulously calculated plans to bring Stahl down with her impulsive actions and desire to protect him.
- The Stoner: Unser lights up a joint, saying it's one of the few joys left in his life.
- Unspoken Plan Guarantee: The entire plan to deal with Stahl had Jax pretend that others know nothing about his status as The Mole, and it fools both Gemma and Stahl.
