On a Wild West world, Colin is wounded and separated from the other Sliders, who search for their missing friend and cross paths with an old enemy.

- Fanservice: Maggie dressed up as a saloon showgirl.
- Frame-Up: Kolitar kills a man, but he uses a mental trick to make the witnesses think it was Quinn who did it.
- Genre Savvy: Quinn and Rembrandt attempt to a jailbreak by the former hanging onto the ceiling and the latter claiming he's escaped. It doesn't work on Kolitar, though, who says a Kromagg western he saw once featured the same kind of trick.
- Going Native: Kolitar, to the point where he's speaking like a cowboy.
- Got Me Doing It: Quinn and Rembrandt pick up Western slang pretty quick.
- Heel–Face Turn: Ben Siegel helps Maggie near the end.
- I Choose to Stay: Kolivar thinks the Western world is a Kromagg's dream come true
- It Has Been an Honor: Rembrandt says there's no one else but Quinn that he'd rather hang with.
- Left the Background Music On: While in jail, Quinn and Rembrandt discuss their situation, and their discussion is set to harmonica music. After a while, Rembrandt pokes his head through the window and tells the man sitting outside and playing the harmonica to cut it off.
- Properly Paranoid: Kolitar bumps into Maggie while she's wearing her saloon girl outfit. He finds her familiar but doesn't dwell on it until later confronted by Colin.
- Richard Nixon, the Used Car Salesman: Ellie Starr mentions that her father fought with Norman Schwarzkopf at Gettysburg.
- Running Gag: Those not native to this world keep falling into western phrases and terminology. Every time that happens, the given character says, "It's catching."
- Suddenly Shouting: "SLIDERS!"
- Ultimate Authority Mayor: Sheriff Redtield is also an undertaker and a horse merchant.
- Villain: Exit, Stage Left: Kolitar escapes on a horse.
- Villain of the Week: Mr. K, AKA Kolitar from "Slidecage."
- Wrong Genre Savvy: Kolitar thinks the Sliders deliberately followed him instead of landing on this world by chance.
- "You!" Exclamation: Kolitar when confronted by Colin.
