The Sliders land on a world where people wonder about aimlessly, and they make their way to the Chandler Hotel where, upon entering, they are transformed into digital data. They then encounter the owner of the hotel, Archibald Chandler, who refuses to let them leave.

- Affably Evil: Archibald Chandler is rather genial to the Sliders despite not allowing them to leave.
- Graceful Loser: After Quinn figures out a way to get himself, his companions, and the other hotel guests out of the Chandler Hotel, Chandler himself simply takes a sip of his tea and congratulates Quinn before disappearing.
- Villain of the Week: Archibald Chandler is the main antagonist of the episode.
