"Victory for the proletariat! [Beat] That's you!" *cheers*

The 'communist' episode. It's also the only time the original version of the opening theme is played instead of the usual version (barring the Pitch Pilot, which was never broadcasted).

Murphy has discovered and embraced communism, setting himself up as a Lenin-like figure, and most of Sealab follows suit. Quinn is the only holdout, trying to convince Debbie and Stormy that this would end badly just like it did for the Soviet Union. Debbie, in turn, rats out Quinn (and Stormy, just because she could) to Murphy, who imprisons them both.

Quinn is quickly freed, but only so he can make an atomic bomb and bomber jet for Murphy. Murphy also sends Debbie undercover to seduce the president of the United States. She finds out that they plan to preemptively bomb Sealab, but outs herself as a spy in the process.

Quinn and Stormy go to bomb the US, but Quinn knocks Stormy out and tries to defect. He finds out it's too late to call back the bombers attacking Sealab, and is forced to listen as Murphy is cut off by bombs dropping (unless it's the unlikely chance his phone spontaneously melted). The president, a JFK expy, calms Quinn down and convinces him to land, but Quinn gets angry when he finds out the president and his brother the attorney general (a RFK expy, natch) slept with Debbie, and rides the bomb down, destroying Washington D.C.

Back at Sealab, it turns out it really HAD been Murphy's phone melting spontaneously.

This is also the first episode to have no stinger.
