Shanks has a tumor that will kill him if left untreated, but as an Alvian Scientist, he refuses to seek treatment, believing prayer will cure him. Besides, he scored a pity date with Debbie Love thanks to it. The rest of the crew decide on a plan to use a shrink ray to shrink Quinn, Debbie Dupree, and Stormy inside Deep Diver, somehow inject Deep Diver into Shanks, and have them fight the tumor from the inside. They'll only have eleven minutes to do it, though, before the shrinking effect reverses, and if they're still inside Shanks when it happens, he dies.
Stormy thinks it references an episode of Muppet Babies, and when Quinn and Debbie don't get it, Stormy temporarily turns Sealab into a late night talk show set to show the clip in question. It turns out though that there's no clip, and Stormy tells us Sealab will be back after a break to sort this mess out.
While the plan initially got to a bad start thanks to Sparks losing Deep Diver inside the water, and then shooting Deep Diver into Shanks's ass instead of the carotid artery, the crew begin to make their way through Shanks's body. They get attacked by white blood cells, and Stormy shoots them down.
Meanwhile, Shanks and Debbie Love are on their date at Luigi's (where the Idiot used to be), where Debbie reminds Shanks that this is a pity date.
Quinn pilots Deep Diver into a cave inside Shanks, but it turns out to be a tapeworm Shanks swallowed on a trip to Mexico. Stormy shoots it dead, and Shanks claims he felt a tiny voice suddenly silenced. Stormy starts shooting Shanks's pancreas next, mistaking it for his appendix, which causes Shanks to bleed everywhere.
Deep Diver comes to Shanks's heart, where they're shocked to find a Blokken (a lawyer friendly Lego block) blocking the path. Turns out Shanks swallowed that too when he visited Blokkenland. Stormy shoots it, causing a massive wave of red blood cells to propel Deep Diver to Shanks's brain. Crashing into the language center causes him to speak in French (which happens to be one of Debbie Love's turnons). The crew finds out from Sparks that they only have five minutes.
Quinn's clumsy attempts at driving end up getting them stuck in Shanks's testosterone gland, just in time for him to beat up the JFK expy from "Red Dawn" and turn Debbie Love on even further.
Debbie Dupree, however, is a much better driver, and gets Deep Diver to the tumor, but there's only ninety seconds left. Debbie Love, meanwhile, is convincing Shanks to try out her hookah while they relax in the water when she points out that even them dating is frowned upon by Alvians, which is disappointing cause she wants another date, causing Shanks to renounce his religion.
Just then, Stormy destroys the tumor, much to Shanks and Debbie Love's surprise. Shanks decides to take another hit on the hookah, but stuffs it up his nose instead, blocking Deep Diver's way out. Deep Diver ends up enlarging inside Shanks, and Stormy once again tells us that they'll take a break to sort it out.
